Use case · ADHD

Reminders for ADHD that keep going instead of vanishing.

If a reminder can be dismissed and forgotten in the same second, it will be. RemindRelay is built for the way ADHD actually works: reminders that escalate until you genuinely acknowledge them, with the option to loop in an accountability partner — no shame, just follow-through.

The swipe-and-forget problem

A standard notification is gone the instant it appears, and with it the task. RemindRelay refuses to be silently dismissed — it gets a little louder, moves to another channel, and keeps the loop open until you actually respond.

Escalating nudges, not nagging

You decide the pace: a quiet push, then a text, then maybe a call. It climbs only as far as a task needs and stops the second you acknowledge — so the pressure matches the stakes instead of nagging at everything equally.

An optional accountability partner

For the tasks that really matter, you can route the final tier to a trusted person who has opted in. Body-doubling, by design — supportive, consent-based, and easy to turn off.

SMS

A text that lands even when the app is closed.

Voice Call

When silence is not an option, the phone rings.

Tier 2 · Escalating

Webhooks

Fire your own endpoints with a signed HTTP call.

Example relay

How an escalation plays out.

  1. 2:00 PM Push

    Task reminder

A push nudge you can acknowledge with one tap.

  2. +10 min SMS

    Swiped away

It does not give up — a text follows.

  3. +25 min Webhook

    Louder still

A second-channel nudge or a webhook to your own tools.

  4. +45 min Trusted contact

    Accountability partner

An opted-in partner gets a heads-up, if you chose that.

  5. Done Resolved

    Acknowledged → resolved

One tap ends it — no lingering guilt.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is this different from my phone’s reminders?

Built-in reminders fire once and fall silent. RemindRelay keeps a reminder open and escalates it across channels until you acknowledge — designed for reminders that are easy to swipe away.

Can I keep other people out of it entirely?

Yes. Escalation only reaches a person at tiers you explicitly configure. Many people use RemindRelay entirely solo, with channels like SMS and calls to themselves.

Is the accountability partner feature shaming?

No. It is opt-in on both sides, fully under your control, and framed as support — you choose whether and when anyone else is ever involved.
